As someone deeply attuned to the world around me, I often experience the process of transformation on a visceral level. The reshaping of reality, whether internal or external, can feel overwhelming as the body, mind, and spirit seldom adjust at the same pace. Expansion is an invitation to step beyond what we know, to embrace both the uncertainty and possibility of transformation. It is within this discomfort that new facets of the self are discovered.

A central force throughout this journey has been my connection to spirit through meditation. While mindfulness and healing have long played a role in my creative practice, in recent years they have expanded into a profound source of artistic inspiration. Many of the works in this series first appeared to me in meditation, vivid images revealing themselves before ever touching the canvas. This process has deepened my understanding of art as a conduit for transformation, a bridge between the seen and unseen. This connection has become the guide in both my art and life, serving as an anchor during times of change.

With Expansion, I seek to capture and celebrate the essence of growth. The act of pushing boundaries, stepping into the unknown and embracing new possibilities, creating what can be a magical and ethereal experience. These paintings serve as reminders of the beauty inherent in transformation, how it is an essential force within the human experience.
